Beachcomber Casita

Everything was proportioned correctly. We did buy our own TP but there was certainly enough for the days we stayed. No washer & dryer but it doesn’t matter, we had plenty of towels, an iron & ironing board, some hangers in the closet. The kitchen was stocked with what we needed as well. This location is fantastic, everything is super walkable. The beach is feet away, we didn’t use them but there were beach chairs and a grill available in the covered area which was nice. Our host rental company was excellent, they were available whenever we needed them, I would recommend them to friends and family. We would love to come back to enjoy this lovely little paradise again.

Loved the easy access to the beach and so close to everything on Mandalay Ave. Didn't need a car at all. Had a great trip. Will definitely be back!

Great spot! Will be back. Literally 55 steps from sand. I counted from the driveway. Felt great knowing the beach was outside. Everyone scrambling for parking while you can go and come as you please. The spot itself is perfect for a couple and a baby or just a couple. Perfect size 1 bedroom apartment with kitchen. Bring your own umbrella or beach tent. I left a chair for the place so now there should be two.

Excellent location! Steps from the beach. Entertainment, shopping, and dining areas are all walkable, but far enough that noise is not a concern. Nice small house, great for two people. The bed was a little awkward because one side is against the wall. The person sleeping on the wall side either has to ask the other person to move when getting out of the bed or slide over the bed footer. The large screen TV worked great. Communication from the host via Airbnb was great for "boilerplate" information (check-in, checkout, etc.), but a bit slow when asking specific questions. Better to call them in that case. (They do provide a phone number.) It will be helpful to know that this house (unit 2) is in the rear of the property. The designated parking spot is in the driveway next to the entrance for unit 1. The parking spaces in the front are for unit 1. The access to the driveway is narrow, so a full size SUV or larger could be tight. Overall a great vacation home for couples!

The location is superb. The beach is outside the front door, and you will be walking distance to a fun area of Clearwater Beach with restaurants and storefronts. The communication with the host was clear and the check-in process seamless. The only downside of the experience was the musty smell of the unit. There was a dehumidifier running, which required daily emptying, but the odor hit me in the face when I walked through the front door. I woke up with a sore throat every morning. This was difficult to overlook. Overall, the stay was enjoyable, but had I known about the odor, I would have passed on this reservation.

The rental was exactly as described. Great location, steps to the beach. Cozy, good space for a couple. We truly enjoyed our stayed.

It was the perfect size for a single person who was just there to relax for a few days and enjoy the view. I love this little hideaway and they’ll probably come back sometime again.

104074 — Westayed at the Beachcomber Casita very cute little house definitely big enough for the two people but not no more than that. Very quiet, very easy to get to things no need to rent a vehicle we walked everywhere, the beach was literally 20 steps away.Just didn't care for the bed it was a little hard and didn't like the fact we only got one roll of tp,and 4 towels and that you have to take out your trash.The only suggestion I would make is to put a sign at the end of the driveway so it is easy to find and put a fan in the room for guest to use instead of a heater in thecloset. Other than that we both enjoyed our stay.

Great location — We had a great stay! The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and the pier. Check-in and check-out were super easy, which made everything hassle-free. A few suggestions: the shower curtain rod is rusted and left marks on a couple of towels/clothes, so it might be time to replace it. The place had a bit of a musty smell, so something to freshen the air would be a nice touch. Also, the floors feel a little uneven due to the foundation. It threw us off at first, but we adjusted. Didn't affect our stay after that. Overall, we enjoyed our time and really appreciated the location and ease of the stay!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here! The location really is great! We were able to walk any & everywhere! The house itself is very simple, nothing fancy. It’s the perfect place to cozy up after a long day in the sun. The AC & humidifier is also great white noise for sleeping, however the bed and pillows are not the comfiest. Per other reviews we decided to bring an extra roll of toilet paper due to staying a whole week. Great call, as we did end up running out towards the end of the week. Also, the trash cans are tiny & you only get the bags that’s already in them upon arrival. Our hack was keeping our grocery sacks for trash & then placing them in the dumpster outside! OVERALL, it is a good place to stay if you’re a beach bum like us! :)

Perfect little get away spot — We truly enjoyed our stay. Location was steps away from the sand, restaurants, shops, bars and trolley stop. The place is small but clean and perfect for couple's. We were really only inside to shower & sleep. It had everything we needed. We will definitely be back.

The location is fantastic. Steps from the beach, and easy walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Parking is tough in this area, so being able to walk is a great benefit. The property has a dedicated parking place. The address has two units, and I stayed in the small unit in back. The up front instructions were not clear to me, as the photos directed me to the door for unit 1 but I was reserved in unit 2. We got it figured out, and it was not a big problem. This is not a fancy place, but if you're looking for a super convenient place to sleep and then spend all day on the beach, it's a great choice.

If you want to be right at the beach this is the place for you, because you are literally right at the entrance of the beach. The host was very accommodating and always responsive. Dedicated parking and just all around a great location. Restaurants, ice cream shops, bars, pharmacy and more all in walking distance.

The Little Cottage: This little cottage is about 100 steps from the white sandy beach. The beach was amazing and sunsets were breathtaking. Great location. Walking distance to several restaurants and shops. Contacted Management Company Sunday night around 9pm regarding a maintenance issues. They responded at almost 1am. By then we resolve issue on our own, but the follow day Management Company reached out to make things right.

Everything was great except for one little issue. We could not adjust the volume on the TV and it was so low that you could not hear anything. I texted about it on Thursday night and did get a response that they would see if the maintenance guy was still available. I told the person not to bother him that night due to family time and we could do it in the morning. No one ever got back in touch with me or showed up to look at the TV on Friday. I messaged them again, and no one responded to my message. We were not able to watch the TV for the six days that we were there.

Great place to stay and very close to the beach. Only issue we had was the hairdryer didn’t blow hot air.

The location was great! There was a short walk to the beach and also restaurants were just a short walk away. The place was clean and it was easy to find.

Steps to beach: We had very smelly sewer issues. The onsite management did a great job of moving us. But we spent first 2 days of 4 moving. Very disappointing for last stop on our Florida vacation. We are aware that this is really no one’s fault but in the end the only people inconvenienced was us. I asked for a refund of 50% considering that’s what we feel was our lost time. We discussed this before we checked out & told we would receive a response. I have left 2 more messages with no response. So after this amount of time passed I’m assuming that is all we will hear.
