Great place / Great communication — Wonderful stay. No issues. Walk to everything and away from the bustle.

★★★★★ — We really enjoyed this beach home and it's close proximity to the beach, the bar, and the convenience store. It was far enough away from the chaos, yet an easy walk when we chose to venture downtown. The home was clean and comfortable with modern furnishings. I would definitely stay there again, and probably will.

Location, Location, Location! — This "Old Florida Charm" home has captured my heart for 8 wonderful years! If the walls could talk, I am sure the stories of the days of old would be plentiful! If you're looking to capture full moons, fabulous sunsets, and the beauty of the Gulf of Mexico in Clearwater Beach, look no further! Relax, and enjoy. This IS the place!

★★★★★ — The Great- the house is literally steps away from the beach. Our family of 6 loved being so close to the ocean. The Good - it is very spacious and clean. The beds were very comfy, the kitchen had everything we needed, also loved the fenced in area for the dogs!

★★★★. Great beach access — Beach access was amazing. Older house. Can’t beat being that close to a gas station, a restaurant and the beach. Wasn’t loud or noisy at all until early morning when trash trucks and other vehicles start moving. But wasn’t bad. One bathroom, 3 beds and 1 pullout bed. 3 doors. I wish like some others have said that there could be a way to lock the back room doors to the outside with a chain or some other locking mechanism for added added safety. Especially if kids are sleeping in the back rooms. Customer service was great as the office was very close. There were beach towels there and a beach chair. We left another beach chair and an umbrella.

Great — It is an older property, but very well maintained and very spacious. About 10 steps from the front door and you are literally on beach sand. Will definitely stay here again. Love the fact that you can walk the beach or either the shopping strip. Its all in a comfortable walking distance. Plenty of sleeping space for the family as well and all the beds were very comfortable.

Sandy Shores II — I love this location and I love this older house! The location is phenomenal to eateries, bars and shopping! I have been a renter here for 7 years and the best part of being here is 30 steps from being on the sugary white sands of Clearwater Beach!!

The Perfect Beachside Vacation Location, Location, Location...... — Sandy Shores II is perfectly located in the heart of Clearwater Beach, literally steps away from the beach. Should you choose to venture away from the beach and the perfectly appointed accommodations, everything you could ever need is within walking distance, including fantastic restaurants, bars, etc. White sugar sand, and gorgeous sunsets. The perfect beach vacation location!

Best Place to Stay in Clearwater — This was an excellent place to stay at during our stay in Clearwater. We stayed at Clearwater with our three kids and it was a convenient walk to the beach I'll walk back you were able to see the water I had a pool everything was so clean and they had extra covers and towels. If I had to book another stay it would be at this location.

You're paying for location — As the title says, you are paying for the location. You're not paying for a luxurious place. As long as you know that going in, like we did, you will not be disappointed. But, if you're looking for a 5-star luxury sort of place, you'd better not book this one. So, the good? You are on the beach with enough room to sleep everyone you can stand to be around for a week. If you don't like the beach, you have 500 Mbps wifi to keep you entertained. (The TV is Roku only, so be prepared for this) The kitchen is adequate for the purpose of vacation, but there is no dishwasher. Again, not a big deal to us...location. There were beach chairs and a few other beach items in the front bedroom, and there is an outdoor shower on the left side of the house. The bad? This place needs some work. There are places in the floor that are weak, and it is rotted out beside the tub. (Not a big deal...location...focus on location.) Someone obviously thinks that white duct tape is a repair for any and everything. There are pieces on the floor, walls, etc. All in all, I'm being picky to find anything I would personally call "bad" simply because of the price paid in comparison to other rentals on the beach. The one big issue, and it may be a big one for some, is the garbage. The can outside is small. SMALL. It was over flowing when we arrived on Sunday. All on all, we would stay here again. We liked it, and it met our needs. The trash was inconvieient, but I get it.

Cute beach stay! — This was a cute place to stay for our beach vacay! Perfect location-near everything but super quiet and peaceful too. Host was very responsive. Would for sure stay here again.

Would definitely stay again 🙂 — Upon arrival the unit was very clean, the AC was kicking and the view of the beach was inviting. Note: There is a very tall building up next to the house now but you can still see the beach from the porch. This home is a bit ot dated and certainly has its quirks but nothing we weren't happy to deal with for the ease of beach access and FREE PARKING. The rooms are fairly large with plenty of sleeping room for all. The one TV is in the living room and is a Roku TV ready for you to log in to all of your streaming services. My kids weren't super happy about having only one TV but I was. 😂 Door has a keycode access which died on our second night (of 9) at about 10:30 PM on a Saturday. It was easy to reach the after hours emergency staff and after a bit they were able to reach a maintenance person to come let us in and change the battery. Not an ideal situation but the office handled it wonderfully. Speaking of locks, would like to see a chain or hotel style lock on all 3 doors in the future. There is an outside shower conveniently located near the back door for was rinse off. This was our first time in Clearwater and we seriously struggled to find parking (even paid) anywhere so we were extra grateful for the close proximity to the beach and being in walking distance to a few great restaurants. (Our favorites were Frnchies Rockaway Grill and Jimmy Hulas.) There was not one day of our trip we didn't walk the half Coty block to the beach! The kitchen is stocked with nearly any small appliance you can think of (except a dishwasher.) There also is an on demand water heater and washer and dryer. If you're able to look past a few vanity issues and want to be almost as close as possible to the beach, I would highly recommend Sandy Shores 2. 😀
