★★★★★ — Great stay!
Condo #44 — My kids and I absolutely loved the condo. It was super clean and set up so cute. It had everything we could possibly need inside. There is a wagon with some sand toys and four chairs. There is also a fully loaded kitchen. The only thing is it said there was an oven and the only oven that is in the property is a small toaster oven on the counter. It wasn't a big deal for us. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The pool was nice also. The only things that could've made it better would possibly be having a hot tub. Also, the walk from where the condo is to the shoreline is very long. When looking on a map, (I tracked my kids location when they were at the shore to see the distance) it gives you a four minute drive to the shoreline. Walking in sand and hauling a lot makes that a difficult walk. It is actually directly on the beach, but to the shoreline, it is a haul. But for the price and the nice condo it was worth it for us.
Quiet Beach Getaway — Tropic Terrace #44 was perfect for my family of four. The two bedrooms allowed for my husband and I to have our own space and bathroom while our two teens shared a room. The living space was comfortable and so were the beds. We were so pleased to know that beach chairs and a few other supplies were in a closet for use. The water pressure was AMAZING when showering! There are a lot of cute little “mom and pop” shop type places to go out to eat. The beach was a super quick walk and was not crowded (even during the 4th of July holiday). The pool onsite was clean and perfect for when we wanted a quick break from the salt water. I would book this again and recommend to friends and family.
Fun Stay — We had a fun stay for two nights at Tropic Terrace #44 the nights of May 30 and 31. The “room” was a perfect size for our family of 5, and there was a lot of storage space - we could have easily stayed here more than two nights. It was clean and we appreciated the beachy atmosphere. The kitchen, despite its size was functional for breakfast and lunch and well supplied - every appliance/item I happened to need I was able to find. The room is tucked away in the corner and at first we were bummed to not have a pool view, but the space with the steps actually worked well for our family to set out wet sandy things. We also hoped that there might be at least a tiny view of the ocean, but there is not, the way the windows are located - we knew that was likely going in. However there was a lovely amount of sunlight in the room in the morning and the little bit of road noise did not seem to bother our children with sleeping. The other bonus we discovered was the closet with the beach chairs and wagon. That came in very handy! We saw lots of sea life at the ocean- manatees swimming right by us, various fish, stingrays, pelicans, egrets… it was amazing! The kids also very much enjoyed the pool in addition to the ocean. We would stay here again and have already recommended this room to a friend. Thanks!
★★★★★ — we liked everything
Quick Family Vacation! — Our stay at the Tropic Terrace was great! We stayed in #44, which was a perfect size for our family of 4 adults. The unit was very clean and welcoming. However there were no beach chairs and only 2 beach towels for 4 people. We made it work! Tropic Terrace grounds were so cute and clean. It has such a retro vibe. The pool gets lots of sun but also provides shade. It's a quick walk to the ocean with nice paths and soft sand along the way. They have shuffle board right by the walking path which was fun to play. Tropic Terrace is located in a good spot with short walks (15-20mins) to fun entertainment spots. Go north of complex to visit Johns Pass, it's a must checkout spot for all ages. Eat at Caddy's. The best oysters (and delicious other choices) we have had in Florida! Go south of the complex to Ricky T's, it has amazing food and good entertainment. The buffalo chicken pizza is the bomb and the Italian beef sliders are amazing. All and all we had a great 4 night stay in unit 44 and would definitely come back to the Tropic Terrace in the future!
